Hello out there,
Aloha to thee. I hope this finds you in high spirits and top shape!
Today is September 20, 2012 … among other things it’s the 12th anniversary of the founding of The Hawai’i Cannabis THC Ministry! I clearly remember the moment when I realized that my ordainment as a Minister, my Hawai’i State license to marry people with “Cannabis sacrament”, and my willingness to serve the people of this world added-up to a commitment. That commitment has provided me with the greatest joy and honor of my professional life. Our mission has been to provide Ministry services and Cannabis sacraments with as many sincere people as possible who value the consciousness-raising and healthful benefits of the holy herb. Now our mission is to obtain federal recognition and legitimacy by winning the indictments against us. Imagine that happy day!
Our Ministry has officially been on-hold since July 8, 2010 when the Green Fourteen were arrested by federal agents. It’s been a challenging time for ourselves and our families, our members and our supporters. Our court case has been delayed repeatedly since then and is now scheduled for March 12, 2013. At this point Share and I and one other co-defendant that we know of will go to trial and face a jury of our peers. We claim our innocence and we intend to win. Between now and then we will file motions and hold public court hearings to present evidence and expert witnesses seeking to dismiss the charges against us. Our motions will be based on the misclassification of ‘marijuana’, and a few other provable reasons. In addition, we will file a motion for a religious defense to prosecution intending to be the first people in U.S. history to qualify for that sacred designation. We invite you to keep-up with the case online and to attend the public court hearings, if possible. We deeply appreciate your prayers and your other practical support, too.
Share and I continue to give thanks for our many blessings as they far out number our challenges. We know that we’re on-purpose, on-course, on-target and on-time with our case to help end the tyranny of prohibition and to free the Cannabis hemp plant as God intended. We thank you for your love and comfort these past twelve amazing years, and we give thanks in advance for the bright Cannabis future that we intend to share with all of you. A ministry is its people and please know that we appreciate each and every one of you! Mahalo and aloha.
With much love and deep respect,
The Hawai’i Cannabis THC Ministry
