Aloha to thee. ‘Cannabis can now win an election in some places’. Gotta love that! Baby boomers are still the largest slice of the population. Go boomers!
I think there needs to be a media breakthrough about juicing the leaves, eating the seeds and holy anointing oil made with prayer and intention. Come-on NEWSWEEK Magazine! Maybe see them in here this week for an interview.
I imagine that people will hold-on to their property stronger and longer when their property provides them with organic Cannabis for all its many uses. Want to reduce hunger, disease, poverty, crime, war, divorce and terrorism? Legalize the herb.
I wonder what excellent news will happen this coming week? Every day now provides more pro-Cannabis positivity. 20-12 indeed. :-p
All the best to you,
Roger

I think the question of states’ rights is far more important to many people than the actual underlying issue of marijuana. The reason you are seeing so many people appear to be supporting marijuana now is simply the fact that marijuana can win an election.
What really annoys me is all the focus on Obama. Folks like Ethan Nadelmann need to move to a country with a strong dictator, so they can blame a president for everything. That is not going to fix the problem in a system like ours where power was never intended to be centralized in a national government.
There are 32 states that do not accept medical use of marijuana, and 48 that do not accept the non-medical use of marijuana. There is a federal regulation the states should be amending that says marijuana has no accepted medical use in treatment in the United States. That is the solution, not blaming President Obama. We have the power to fix this without any help from President Obama.

Hello out there,
Aloha to thee. It’s surprising to me to see this optimistic article in the Christian Science Monitor which has, up til now, been overly negative towards Cannabis use for any reason (as far as I’ve seen).
All the best news to you!

With half or more Americans now favoring legalizing marijuana, President Obama has one bold option that few experts are talking about: Raising the white flag and ending the federal war on pot….
