Dear friends,
Aloha and good Friday morning! Thanks to each of you for taking the time to write a personal testimony in support of the Senate Resolution to ‘urge the feds to give me bail until our trial’ in July. Share and I are very grateful to you for taking the time and the effort to get this historic action passed.
The Judiciary Committee Chairman Clayton Hee reportedly ‘deferred’ the action, meaning he declined to allow a vote on the matter when it got to his Committee. So much for democracy at the legislature. Oh well … We’ve heard, however, that there were over 200 letters to PASS the Resolution received by the deadline before the meeting! As far as we know, the only reported opposition was from the Department of Public Safety, the prison department. You did good. :-p
I’m reminded of our spiritual principle to bless our challenges and the things that used to disappoint us, so …
God, that’s great that the historic Resolution from the State of Hawaii to ‘urge the feds to grant me bail until trial’ was deferred in Committee. Please show us the blessings in THIS situation … and hurry! We are safe, we are loved and all is well.
All the very best to you and yours!
With much love and respect,
Roger
